These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tiger Taxi Rider App and Tiger Taxi Driver App (together, "Tiger Taxi", "we", "us", "our", the "Platform").

By creating an account or using Tiger Taxi in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Tiger Taxi.
To register as a driver, you must hold a valid driving license and legally own or be authorized to operate the vehicle you register.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.

2. Account Registration

Riders register by providing first name, last name, username, email, phone number, and password, and log in using email and password.

Drivers register by providing first name, last name, username, email, phone number, password, preferred service type (Bike, Car, Car Max, CNG, etc.), and vehicle details (model, production year, plate number, color). Drivers must then upload verification documents (NID, driving license, and other supporting documents as required).

A driver account remains inactive until our admin team reviews and approves the submitted documents.

We may reject an application, or suspend or deactivate an approved account, if documents are found to be invalid, expired, or fraudulent, at our reasonable discretion.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. The Service

Tiger Taxi is a technology platform that connects riders who need a ride with independent drivers who provide rides, across service types such as Bike, Car, Car Max, and CNG. Tiger Taxi does not itself provide transportation services — drivers using the Platform are independent and are solely responsible for the transportation services they provide.

4. Booking, Ride Flow, and Cancellation

Riders may request a ride by selecting a service type and pickup/drop-off details. A ride request is sent to available nearby drivers.
Once a driver accepts a request, both parties receive notifications for key ride events (accepted, started, completed).
Either party may cancel a ride before it starts. Repeated or last-minute cancellations may result in account review or restrictions.
Riders and drivers may communicate through in-app chat during an active ride. Chat history is automatically deleted once the ride is completed, as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Fares and Payment

Fares are calculated based on distance, time, service type, and applicable rates, and are shown to the rider before or at the time of booking, where feasible.
Payment may be made via the SSLCommerz payment gateway or directly to the driver in cash, at the rider's choice where available.
Riders may optionally leave a tip for the driver after a ride is completed. Tips are voluntary and non-refundable once given.
We are not responsible for payment disputes arising from cash transactions between riders and drivers, though we may assist in good faith where possible.

6. Ratings and Reviews

After a ride is completed, riders may optionally rate the driver and leave a review. Reviews must be honest, respectful, and must not contain abusive, defamatory, or unlawful content. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.

7. User Conduct

Please note: Violating these conduct rules may result in account suspension or termination.

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
Harass, threaten, or abuse other users through in-app chat or otherwise
Provide false information during registration or document verification
Attempt to circumvent our fare, payment, or verification systems
Use another person's account without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms.

8. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers are solely responsible for:

Holding a valid, current driving license and vehicle documents (registration, insurance where applicable) at all times
Operating their vehicle safely and in compliance with applicable traffic and transportation laws
The accuracy of the vehicle and service information provided at registration

9. Disclaimers

Tiger Taxi acts solely as a technology platform connecting riders and drivers. We do not guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or legality of rides provided by drivers, or the conduct of riders or drivers.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tiger Taxi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss, injury, or damage arising from a ride, in-app communication, or interaction between riders and drivers, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or posed a safety risk to other users. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last Updated" date.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
